Our first wedding of the season happened a few weeks ago at Maison Beliveau Estate. Kirsten & Thomas’s wedding was a great way to kick off the 2014 wedding season. After being on maternity leave for a few weeks prior I was more than excited to get back to it (oh, btw, we had a baby in March! More details on our newest addition and her newborn photos soon!)
Kirsten & Thomas were surrounded by their closest friends & family on their special day. I am always amazed at big bridal parties since mine was so small (we each had three) but each and everyone of these girls (& guys) were 100% there for the happy couple. I love seeing that! And you know I love an awesome bridal party and these girls did not disappoint.
I mean, they did shots of Firefly prior to Kirsten walking down the aisle.
Isn’t Kirsten stunning?! Her dress fit her like a glove. It was hard to see the full beauty of the dress at first (something she even admits when she first picked it out) but the minute she put it on the dress became a part of her. It was pretty amazing to see.
Meanwhile, the guys were hanging out in the barn getting ready.
Now that’s a happy groom!
Their ceremony was sweet & full of emotions. Thomas’s dad was the pastor who married them. How cool is that?!
The weather was just beautiful.
GORGEOUS!!! We had a blast walking around the grounds with them for their photos.
Um, FAVORITE!!! This needs to be a canvas on your wall guys. Seriously, I think this is on the short list for when Ben & I update our meeting space canvases. It is just too perfect.
AH! I love how sweet they are to each other.
There was so many details to their wedding. From the chalkboard signs, the rustic containers, paper straws, mason jars & other decor; everything was well thought out.
As I mentioned, they had so many different details including ones that represented their relationship. It was only fitting to use one of them for their ring shots.
The toasts were hysterical & emotional. I am not sure there was a dry eye in the crowd during her sister’s toast. You could feel the love surrounding them.
After the emotions of the toasts were over it Kirsten’s cousins broke out into song for her. The song of choice? Wannabe by the Spice Girls!
The bouquet toss got a little violent. 😉
Name this song!? Any guesses?………Don’t Stop Believing!
Congratulations Kirsten & Thomas! Best wishes for a happy life together.
