In the midst of the busy wedding season, we sometimes don’t get the chance to blog every wedding so we can focus on getting the files to our clients. Meredith & Mike’s wedding at Hahn Horticulture Gardens this past July was one of them. After doing their engagement session the past fall we were excited for their wedding. Their wedding was so beautifully executed in a very large part due to Sherri Box from Events by Sherri. We highly recommend using a wedding planner to help your vision come together and help things go smoothly the day of your wedding.
How gorgeous are her flowers from Best Wishes? And let’s talk about her dress!! She had it custom made just for her from a designer she found on Etsy. It was perfect.
Her Dad’s first peek at the beautiful bride.
Though the rain teased us all day long the outside ceremony was able to happen flawlessly.
I love the quiet moments that parents often share on their children’s wedding day. Such pride!
One of our favorite things about Hahn Horitculture Garden is all of the nooks it has to take pictures in. Just even pointing our cameras in a different direction yields such different results.
Favorite!! Such joy on both of their faces. LOVE!
Photo time after the ceremony is a great way to take a moment and let it all sink in. Meredith & Mike did just that.
Just a few of the details of their reception. I loved this idea of the pinwheels as placeholders. The guests then stuck their pinwheels into the centerpieces. What a unique idea!
Seriously, homebrew as favors?! Love this idea.
Mike and his mom’s dance was hilarious! They danced on every inch of that floor.
The magic of technology. Meredith & Mike were able to facetime with friends who couldn’t make it to the wedding.
The pinwheels made for a nice backdrop to their gorgeous rings.
Last dance. After their sparkle exit they rode off on a Hooptie Hokie pedicab.
Congrats Mike & Meredith! Hope married life is treating you both well. We loved being apart of your special day!
